E2E implies that the data itself gets encrypted by the sender and is only decrypted by the receiver. With https, the "pipe" is encrypted, but the data is not and the server will get the plain-text.

Emacs used to have poor json support, which is why lsp was slow. That got fixed a version or two ago, and now lsp works great.

Can't you use the Android system level notification settings? Many apps don't have any notification settings themselves, since Android provides them.

Never heard that before. Sure you're not thinking of iOS, where that is indeed the (stated) reason for not allowing alternative browser engines and requiring the use of the system webkit.

I wonder how they handle color management, since apparently Wayland still doesn't support it (and the Wayland devs are clueless about it). See the discussion here: https://discuss.pixls.us/t/wayland-color-managemen

We'll see what Brave can do to work around it, but chances are that content blockers are going to be handicapped when Manifest v3 is fully implemented. Firefox will have no such problem, as Mozilla has specifically committed to keeping

While it's true that Gimp can't compete with Photoshop, Lightroom has some very stiff competition in Darktable, RawTherapee and ART. In fact, depending on how you look at it, Darktable may actually be the better/more powerful

An (arguably better) alternative to alt gr is a compose key. It allows you to type many more characters than alt gr, and the compose sequences are generally intuitive enough that (unlike alt gr) you don't have to memorise them. I have

Ory Kratos and Hydra are API only and so don't provide a UI. Localisation then is entirely up to you.

Mouse selection works fine. At least if you use the gui. And, really, if you're using emacs in the terminal, you should consider switching, since it works much better in the gui.
