Just like you can use Linux instead of Windows, you can choose Android instead of iOS. Did you read my comment at all? I was arguing that if iOS gained a large enough market share, using Android might become a choice with unrealistic cost

We can - now. But what of the future? Imagine if the iPhone had an overwhelmingly dominant market share of mobile computing devices, say, 90%, and that mobile computing has become an integral part of life (which seems like what's going to h

That should have been the best reason to switch. I'm pretty sure most early Linux adopters switched from whatever proprietary platform they were using for political reasons (i.e. freedom). I'd argue that without the people who switched fo

I agree, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to make it more accessible to them. I started with mIRC scripts myself, and that was because it was just so easy to get to it.

It's some way off from being a weapon, I think. The bricks didn't so much blow off as they fell off (from being blown off balance). Ok, I did not say that very clearly. Still, awesome experiment.

That's one way of looking at it, with which I disagree. I mean, which is more sociopathic: thinking you "can do better" while in a relationship, or valuing someone because she's here for you now ? I can't speak for other Linux/Android user

I'd liken it more to A. Being jobless for 2+ years and then getting the perfect job. B. Having a job now that kinda sucks, but pays the bills. B for me. :)

I don't really understand the fuss. You can edit Clojure with any text editor, right? Syntax highlighting, auto-complete, auto-indent, etc are nice features to have, and I do use them, but not really necessary for learning a language . If
