But this isn't "technical" writing. This is member of a community talking about the state of that community. Jargon is expected. Even more, this what I look for, even as a foreigner.

May I ask about your trust issue regarding Google models? Is it about quality issues (lack of guardrails, agent runs dangerous commands)? I have seen first-hand Gemini-cli going out of the project directory and using my home directory as a

Yes. It definitely lacks the hourglass mouse cursor experience!

Definitely. That's what a good translation is. But then, agents can work on removing each unsafe one by one and this will bubble issues.

Bun is owned by Anthropic. This is just marketing budget.

"at the same time" is a recipe for failure with coding agents.

I guess that the next release of Claude Code will use that runtime. No later than next week.

Claude Code uses Bun as its runtime. If this has been merged, I expect that Bun-rust is good enough to power Anthropic's internal agents to do live testing.

Does that mean that from now your coding agents working on the Bun codebase are themselves running on that rust-Bun runtime?

This is assuming the LLM can produce an accurate response.

Also: Anthropic bought Bun to not depend on node.js. But now they are dependent on Zig which is a moving target and is hostile to them because not accepting their contributions.

JSON is structured (not plain text to be analyzed by an IA). JSON has JSON Schema. In addition, JSON is easier to parse and to map to common data structures of programming languages.

You're asking/trusting an agent to do powerful things. It does. In every session there is the risk that the agent becomes a rogue employee. Voluntarily or involuntarly is not a value system you can count on regarding agents. No &q

My current frustration with Markdown is that Gemini is very bad at producing them. Just because gemini.google.com uses Markdown for its output, it doesn't seem to be able to properly output Markdown from Markdown: always corrupted. Jus

I remember fondly of a raster talk at FOSDEM about 20 years ago: playing videos inside a terminal. Amazing!

I would question the framework design: the method is called "UpdateUser", so it should be executed in a transaction, so it should be a parameter of the service, and the transaction logic handled by the framework. func (s \*Ser

On a GitHub project, agents must just be considered untrusted external contributors.

Or ask the agent to write a Dockerfile (to abstract the build environment) that builds CUPS and all your stuff around it directl in WASM, instead of targeting x86 and then emulating x86 with WASM.

It would be much more interesting/efficient if the LLM had tokens for machine instructions so extracting instructions would be done at tokenizing phase, not by calling objdump. But I guess I'm not the first one to have that idea.

I have no doubt that LLMs can be as good at analyzing binaries than at analyzing source code. An avalanche of 0-day in proprietary code is coming.

That's not how that works in the Go ecosystem: you don't get that dependency upgrade unless you explicitly upgrade the dependencies of your project. The Go toolchain uses the "Minimum Version Selection" algorithm. https
