I'm sorry but your comment is fear mongering. The idea that psychedelics are dangerous unless you are 'mentally healthy' misses the point of these substances entirely. Yes they can sometimes do real harm but I would dare to s

From what little i've seen of this guy; he appears to have no actual technical understand or depth to anything he reports on and basically just echos pop science and press releases. Scott Manley, Curious Mark and Periscope archival foo

I worked a food job in high school. When I showed up for the 'interview' the manager just handed me a pen and the contract to sign. My sister also referred me but I think this is how most people were hired as long as the boss coul

Isn't human trafficking just used as a scary term for what is basically 'willful prostitution' in contexts like this? I highly doubt Craigslist is systematically used to sell slaves or anything truly nefarious given how publi

For benching you leave the clip off on one side. If you fail to lift you tilt the bar to one side then you are free. I think it shouldn't be a concern unless you are pushing some serious weight.

I now have arrow keys enabled because there is some menu where I need them sometimes. But disabling them helped me a lot initially. I think it will just take longer to pick it up if you can fall back to arrow keys when you get frustrated. I

If you code full time just force yourself to use it. Disable arrow keys in the .vimrc. Find the most common 5 procedures you use in your current editor and write out how to do those in vim on a post it note under your monitor. Also print ou

Something about this comes off as amateurish. The obsession with minimization. Just use a switch statement. Now where is the bug going to hide? The solution doesn't need to generalize, there is only a small handful of different solutio

Wouldn’t this just produce energy in the form of photons which are neutral in terms of being matter or antimatter which could then turn back into matter? I don’t see how anything has to be lost in this situation. Other than a large amount o

I used to use multiple cursors in sublime, but I do find vims find/replace syntax to be better. Paired with a macro that fills out most of the find/replace command for word under cursor, I find it fast and flexible.

The military has been using drones since before quad copters. Anything long range is not going to be a quad, but something like a small plane. I'd imagine 'drone' in military lingo still mostly refers to fixed wing craft.

I don't think you need the sub-microsecond resolution PTP compatible PHYs offer. I was hoping to get away with software timestamping which I believe should still give you sub ms synchronization. My real question, I guess, is how in syn
