I believe this can be more generic, having something you're into makes every day enjoyable. I had that realization a couple of years ago. Happiness for me is doing less things I don't enjoy and more of the things I do enjoy. Gamin

I did the same. We had a tool that would let you export to pdf. That pdf would be sent to our customers. Initially we just used the print functionality in the users browser, but that caused output to vary based on the browser/os used.

If you duplicate data like mad, how do you ensure that the duplicates are in sync? If you avoid UPDATEs I could maybe see it working.

This is such messed up logic. You can apply it to basically anything. Taken to the extreme, never get in a car because you can get in a car crash. Never go on a plane because it can crash. Don't send your kids to school because they mi

Slightly off topic, but has anyone read the license[0]? This point feels really odd to me: > Creating an admin panel tool (like Laravel Nova or ActiveAdmin) that is made available either for sale or for free. I mostly get the other restr

The most impressive part to me is the submissions reaching the HN frontpage multiple times. I remember the user which is pretty rare for me on HN. While the tech side isn't super interesting to me, I can definitely appreciate the marke

Yeah, look at the input lag in your link. If you enable the frame limit it goes to shit. It's unclear to me if this is Wayland's fault or Valves fault or a mixture of both. The new version doesn't fix the issue, it just reduc

The UK is insane. I left in 2020 and came back to visit recently, things are over 50% more expensive. I used to buy 20 chicken nuggets for £4, it was £6.50 or something. Pints are £7+ instead of £4. I stayed with a friend and he kept his fl
