If I were MS I wouldn't complain on this issue and instead I would just take the bait and put an internal team to find out bugs exclusively in Google products like for instance Android [1] and declare an arbitrary short disclosure poli

I think the initial principle of the disclosure policy is good, it is intended to put a bit of pressure on bad vendors to fix their bugs. That said I don't think we can classify MS as a bad vendor. They fix lot of critical issues e

I think nowadays blocking Github is almost dumber than blocking coursera.org. It's an invaluable resource for all CS students.

I don't know for sure if it truly was their plan but it was later revealed that their goal was either to crash the plane on the Eiffel Tower or on an other tall building of Paris.

Somewhat related to this topic why is there not way (at least intuitively through cmd-x cmd-v) to cut-and-copy a file? I find it mind boggling.

I think the author should refrain from using the word trolls so much it hampers his overall message. So what happens with the pinning example with GNOME (I didn't know this useful command)? Because of the dependance on systemd it is

Very good idea these release notes [1]. In a perfect world it should be even more detailed a bit like What's new in Python x.x notes. Maybe by giving the gist of an RFC through an example or an high-level description before linking

For newcomers I think the documentation is quite good. But where I think there is currently a big problem it is for intermediate / advanced level documentations, it is very limited. Sometimes you'll read some code and say to yours

For all its flaws I must credit the various open source codes I've come to study along the years for all I know in CS. Long term, it's more important than degrees and schools. For instance I vividly remember how hard for me it was

What I think is an important feature of this language is the ease with which it can interact with other languages. Especially the possibility for Rust code to be called from foreign languages such as C very easily. I'm looking forward
