Yes, it is for people love checking out for domains. I do it quite often myself. The price was one-time and I'll let people who purchased it judge. The main feature is to generate one-word or short domain names with different recipes,

It can't run only with client assets/JS, it needs a backend as well. With ElectronJs, you can use Nodejs as the backend There is no official limit number of requests, but discussion from some forums, each TLD has a limit of 300-10

The goal of creating this tool is for long-term users. I doubt people who complain about it will use the tool more than a few times a year. That said, I will be working on the web version.

Have you use impossibly, domainsfortherestofus, or namemesh? They're great tools, but all went offline for sometime now. And that's why I build a desktop app

Not using it offline, definitely need the internet. What I meant was, you don't have to worry if the tool you're using suddenly disappears.

If you mean why I choose ElectronJS: I wanted it be cross-platform, and ElectronJS was the easiest (partly because I already built and been using the main feature). If you mean why a desktop app: I've been using some web-based tools. S
