Is that because they really want to move on or is it because the email doesn't tell the whole story? Curious to hear Medium's response.

From what I've read, yes, there are similar risks associated with getting too much sleep. But don't take it from me, I'm just an engineer that recently became interested in the topic. If you search Google Scholar, you will fi

There were parts of the book that I was definitely skeptical of, and after doing some research, found were not supported by any studies that I could find. So I will agree that you should remain skeptical about some claims... Really, you sho

If you're really interested, read the book Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker. The book references a ton of studies that show, definitively, getting less than 7 hours of sleep is hugely detrimental to your health. The book actually talks a

Not sure where you got the idea that I'm upset that TS has a compiler, I'm just pointing out my perspective on the differences between the two tools. I use both on a daily basis. You might not think the differences is a big deal,

There is no difference if you limit the use of the tool to not use these features. In my eyes, it's a philosophical difference between the two, Flow can be more easily integrated into an existing codebase by just adding //@fl

This is where I see a big difference between Flow / TS. With Flow, the type annotations are just stripped away, none of your Flow code affects runtime code. This is not so with TS since you have things like Enums, which will be compile

Depends on what you work on and what kind of developer you are. If you are just building frontend applications using frameworks like React and Vue, you don't really need to know how things work under the hood. Especially with all of

The main thing that killed Digg was them selling out to advertisers and having power users control all the content on the front page. The redesign was just the final nail in the coffin.

My two main annoyances with the mobile web app are: 1. The annoying popup that comes up every other click asking you to install the iOS app 2. If you are not logged in and accidentally click the comment button it brings up the login modal.
