You must start with labeled data. It is easier to label pictures of parked cars than it is to label pictures of good/bad driving. For labeled video, the dimensionality is out of reach of ML for now, and would add lag to your system.

This video (similar lecture, different audience) has the slides alongside the talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FITJMJjASUs Still one of the best programming talks I've ever seen.

This is a half-formed thought, but if you are blind, how would you perceive space? You can feel against a wall, but you will only be correlating time with locomotion (how long it takes to move your hand against a wall at a certain force) to

Notice the subtlety. The first example on the site is: sum_(i=1)^n i^3=((n(n+1))/2)^2 To render this in LateX as it is shown would be \sum_{i = 0}^n i^3 = \bigg( \frac{n(n+1)}{2} \bigg)^2 No fracts, just "/", no parenthe

There is a deeper question undercutting this project (and Bret Victor's Drawing Dead Fish talk and related approaches). That question is: how can we represent computation in an intuitive and scalable way? Conventional programming langu

Though the formulation of the equation is a conjecture, the fact that a conclusion is that special relativity's "no action at a distance" is equivalent to the second law of thermodynamics is pretty amazing.

It's as important to know the costs as it is the benefits of some technology. Know programming patterns. Be able to categorize a problem as an instance of a pattern (or not). Know what you don't know. Execute. Being better at debu
