Also the vast majority don't get their 20. It's like >80% leaving before 20 yrs. The bigger contributing factors to declining enlistment are: general lack of support for the military among younger people (the latest round of f

Yup this one is it, right here. It's absolutely about discovery costs. Document review is typically like a quarter of all litigation cost, and that's assuming the problem of "get all the docs" is solved already.

Yea I do want to know what the costing on this is. It's a bit hard to figure for BYD because: (a) there's unknown government subsidies going on, and (b) they mine and refine their own lithium and make their own batteries (also ma

Yup this is exactly it. As more countries limit civilian gun ownership, the ISSF has followed to keep participation at the international level broader. At some point I imagine 50m 3p will get replaced by 3p air - 50m prone is already gone

What's somewhat interesting is that at both very low and very high income levels, the % of stay-at-home parent is higher. So for people near poverty, or people making top 1%-ish income, it's less than a 2:1 ratio, more like 35-40

In the US at least, it's like 2:1 ratio, maybe 30-35% of families with kids have a stay at home parent. So, less common, but not an incredible outlier.
