iMessage is a much juicier potential attack vector. over 50% of the US market (trends towards the richer half, too).

I don't mind Apple adopting RCS the same way that SMS is implemented. I like that iMessage can add features at whatever pace Apple wants. RCS will at least fix the annoying group message problems that Android/iOS have.

I think randomness is mostly used to hide the flaws in an imperfect game. In a sufficiently complex game, the natural cause-effects from play should result in new and interesting game states. The opponents inputs + the game rules should cre

Sure. A $15 controller to an OEM (made by Nintendo) is probably the biggest jump in quality that a regular person will notice. The aftermarket controllers often feel cheaply made, skimping on things like replacing the rubberized stick caps

I have a lot of familiarity with competitive controllers for Melee, and $500 is definitely the highest end of the field. At that point you're buying a made-to-order controller with a custom PCB, specially calibrated analog components,

I don’t see how you can pass off Windows as being a good software experience. The default experience is stuffed full of ads, and it’s only getting worse. HW+SW integration is Apple’s whole schtick. I can just put an iPad next to my Macbook

I’ve noticed this kind of trend with technology. Algorithms don’t intuit where you want to go, only where you are. Leads to a feedback loop where you just become more stuck in your current patterns.

If Apple had >5% desktop market penetration, you’d have a point. They should definitely open up iOS to installing apps outside the app store, but their position isn’t nearly as abusive as Microsoft’s. Even their 50-60% share of the mobil
