It's simple economics: third party payment. Patients want as much care as possible, doctors are incentivised to provide it and insurance companies pay for it. Until that changes healthcare costs will not decrease

Class is a bit of a shambles. Yeah, it does make it easier to create constructors. But it also papers over the underlying prototype inheritance structure and can mislead beginners into assuming there is class system in place.

Folks gotta start somewhere. If someone is sufficiently capable and motivated to put together a basic app why not count that experience? Surely if they built it then their work is exactly a demonstration of their skill.

It depends. Some large commercial landlords in UK such as owners of Carnaby St and Marylebone High St avoid chains on purpose. Sure it cuts into their revenue in the short term, but in the long term it helps to preserve the unique character
