Nope. This is _the_ question here, what prevented them from pushing framebuffer data to the adapter, which then puts it into HDMI compatible form

Yep, and the comment about them using already existent h264 support in hardware I think supports dry-run-fastest-to-deadline solution. Re pins, I'm not EE either, but I don't get why people concern about number of pins so much, as I asked e

I think that if you have a 1080p source on your phone, it goes to tv as 1080 and without another compression step, it's only mirroring that reduces the resolution (which, for ipad mini, is less than 1080p btw) and introduces compression pas

But then there's 4K, if we're talking about future proofing. Well, say right now it cannot transmit 1080p60 raw. Could it with new hardware in device and adapter? Or put another way — does number of pins limit bandwidth in any way?

I think the main takeaway is that yes, lightning is future proof and can adapt to any output you want it to. I do wonder what's the reason for encode/decode cycle was in the first place though.

I was planning to switch from verizon to tmobile value for a while now. Even with ETF on verizon it is worth it. Now the only concern I have is network quality, which as I've heard is not that great even in big cities (opinions welcome). Bu

I would say 2 because every package out there works with it, not the case with 3 still. So it will be easier for you to follow docs and tutorials. Plus, 2 is not going away in near future, and you'll be able to pick up 3 easily after that

I'm from Ukraine and love me some yogurt, but the first time I have even heard about celiac was at my first US doctor visit. Plus it looks to me that the whole industry of non-gluten food is so big here, while non-existant at home.
