Yes. How are these magically enforced if someone refuses to pay?

Its not silly it is the crux of the issue that you evade. Tell me, what happens if you don't go along with govt nudges? Don't they fine you or sanction you in someway? And if you continue on this path, refuse to pay your fines a

Not complex at all, just political. Of course, nutrition guidance isn't really a proper function of govt (what does food have to do with force?) In any case, the problem the govt has now is that crow doesn't taste very good, i.e.

I hate to Godwin this thread right out of the gate but say Google is in 1930's Germany as the Nazis came to power, so they persecute jews or look the other way as many corporations did in Nazi Germany? This was legal and the "rig

This is part of the presidential election, to smear Chris Christie and keep the GWB closure in the news. NB: Not a Republican or fan of Christie, just an observer.

Depends on what you mean by "work". They are not economically valid but today are a political means to use the power of govt force (i.e. the gun) to transfer benefits from the property owners to the renters.

For me the harbinger of the death the rule of law was Bill Clinton getting away with lying under oath in court. The announcement that we now live under the rule of men and not laws was the US government's abrogation of asset-backed bo

This is my reaction. I don't want cloud connections and MS/NSA surveillance and key loggers in my OS, so I won't be going to Win10. Hopefully there is enough backlash that MS is forced to allow user to opt out of this garbage
