Ride a bike to a stop on the most direct bus line. Typically, whenever I want to go downtown for a big event, I'll find a busline that goes to that area, then trace its route to the outskirts. I go ride/drive there and take the bu

I had a friend in elementary school who had an English Bulldog. One summer it just died laying on the kitchen floor, at age 4 or 5. Not enough oxygen. Pretty messed up.

Well that was weird. tldr; Windows has 92% OS share. Windows 10 only accounts for 24% (maybe). Windows 10 is so, so secure. How to make people upgrade? Windows 10 new update will have advertising. Other OS's sure look good now. I feel

The point is, change your pitch. Your wording leads to thoughts like the two commenters had above. Shouldn't be too hard if you have real substance to sell.

The thing with that though is that you can buy a Surfacebook in a lot of different places. Macbook is mostly the Apple Store, or at least that is the perception. Ever notice how unbusy the Apple section at Best Buy is?

This is great. My wife has meniere's disease, so we need to protect her hearing in all moderately loud situations, (bars, music venues, movies). In advance of SXSW one year, I bought her a pair of these: http://amzn.to/

Hah! I'll have to show this to my wife. She already knows to spread my ashes in the California Redwoods. Now maybe we can protect them as well.

But even if it were, the creator of the botnet would first have to gain control and then issue a command, right? How would either of those things be possible from outside if there was no connection into the US?

This may be dumb, but someone enlighten me: If this kind of attacking does escalate, wouldn't it be possible to simply cut off requests from outside the United States at the points of entry? Basically, turning the US into an intranet?
