It is the classic essay written about the future in 1945. We got fundamentals (of computing age) for topics like hyperlinks, information retrieval etc. in this article. I guess I've read somewhere that people like Doug Englebart (father of

For last point, there is a startup that specializes in your online reputation management. EDIT: There are lot of companies in online reputation management. Even today.

But IFTTT also allowed you to post tweets to your LinkedIn or Tumblr account (as far as I know). So twitter didn't like it.

How about you pulling your tweets into Linkedin feed? Didn't twitter revoked Linkedin's official API access? p.s. I don't use IFTTT but this is my guess.

Dick Costolo recently spoke about Twitter as a platform on Charlie Rose show - "The future of Twitter is that we'll have a true platform, not just an API that allows developers to create an alternate Twitter experience, but an API that allo

Survival of the fittest! It's applicable for everything. Edit: Btw, I've heard follow on venture rounds (A, B, C etc.) get harder and harder on an exponential scale. If it is then why everyone is saying Series A crunch.

While I admire the effort, however I have some complaints for you. Horrible visual design (especially fonts) and screams skeumorphism done wrong. Why every hipster designer wants to follow Apple? EDIT: Dowonvoters, bring it on! You can't gi

Wow! This is news to me. Even mobile group didn't have people to do it. When every goddamn investor was pumping money into photo sharing apps. Flickr had the most popular photo-sharing app till 2008 and they missed the mobile tidal wave!

I'd be curious to see how old cultural cities like Mumbai, Cairo etc. will look like when they are "chopped". I'm sure they won't look anything different from Istanbul.

Was this their first product in office suite? Out of curiosity, why didn't IBM ever release office suite? They had such a strong hold on enterprise market and yet all they did was to buy lotus notes that too in mid nineties (quite late).

I always think "sharks" on shark tank are arrogant. May be it is due to creating "drama" on the show. Anyways, I feel their valuations are too low for lot of profitable (or revenue generating) companies. Does anyone else think the same?

But it won't be like that in 2015. Android is already dominating in developing world. Low-end devices powered by Android is the future. In India for example, maid at my friend's house didn't have mobile phone till 2007. Now she has mobile p
