Hm. Wonder how it could've leaked. I have to imagine that this incident impacts the likelihood of you sharing something like this with the YC network in the future. I would support rooting this person out and giving a stern warning. Ot

You might enjoy this. I actually think this is well done. https://www.grc.nasa.gov/www/k-12/airplane/index.html Obviously, it could use more work, but the kernel of something really good is there.

I'm going to expand the definition of "daily life application" from things you actually use daily to things you experience daily. These could be engaging too! For example... what are sunspots? How does the plumbing around you

To actually answer your question, I do not think the next Google will have gone through an accelerator. Maybe they will take funding at some point in their lifetime, but their success will not be owed to entering a rigid assembly line for

Re: "empirically untrue," my guess is about the future, for which there is no data, so I don't think it can be "empirically untrue." If you figured out a way to collect data from the future, I am very interested! FW

Actually, it is not true that Instagram had not received funding at the time the story took place. I am referring more to typical pressures, some of which founders place on themselves.

Sorry for the terse reply. I only have time for a short reply. There are two ways of thinking about a problem. And they both are important: 1) Why wouldn't this work? 2) How can we make it work? When you get funding, it's mostly a

An overlooked alternative is to: 1) Reduce your burn rate. 2) Save up enough money to live off of for a year. 3) Bootstrap your startup off your savings. I am going to make a guess that many of the strongest startups will be produced from t

I can't imagine a single person whose life would be better in any significant way with an extra $100. Not even a homeless person would find this quantity helpful over the long-term.
