Isn't there a way to block internal up transfers and actual IP sales? Is that the issue? Like we want to block google to Google transfers, but not company a to "actually unrelated" company b?

Pretty sure they are referring to the system level switch that blocks the prompt and auto-denies every app.

I think the market has said otherwise. Among aware engineers, sure. Among Suzie home maker and Tommy Q the support rep? Doesn't seem so. Facebook is free and has how many people now? ( Just one example I know )

It would ask once per app, per install. This global setting just auto denies it for every that asks, and I'm pretty sure ( but haven't tested ) retroactively denies any app you had previously said yes to. Source: I'm a newly

I Can't agree more. Overly specific details in a ticket might mean that's the only place where the problem exists or it might mean that's the only place the problem was detected. Which lead to very different root causes...

If you're talking a user downloading it with mobile data, it's gonna take a while before it can setup and show anything. I think someone else said there are other optimizations that happen when you shop production code.

I agree compilation speed really only affects the developer in the build chain. Execution speed affects the client and the end user. Seems like the focus should be more on the latter.

I think the post is more about not contributing more to a closed source system like this. Play the game all you want. They are suggesting supporting an open source project instead of well funded commercial software...

And sales commissions can be crazy high too. They are not just paying the IT people.. admins, HR, etc all need to get paid too.. not trying to defend crazy high rates...

And if you get a gift card instead of cash it's typically free. I did that and walked away with an 80$ Starbucks card. The other time, the machine had an issue connecting and a normal checkout clerk gave me cash directly, again no

I see nothing wrong with "lending a movie" to someone.. But how often does the "lent" movie ever get "returned" ( read: deleted )? If not your analogy breaks down and it becomes the same as physically copying

Some people learn great by watching videos. Some people learn great by reading books. I personally learned the best by taking an example ripping it apart and changing it to do something new.
