They should follow in the steps of news media and simply block users who use ad blocking. But they seem hesitant to, probably because that would risk losing the engagement of those users.

Depends on the Premium tier. But yes, uBlock and Sponsorblock together do a much better job of removing the ads.

Paying for YT doesn't remove the ads. On the other hand, the golden era of YouTube has passed. You aren't losing out on much if you simply stop using it.

FYI, Janet has fibers and parsing expression grammars. Many scheme implementations also feature some form of pattern matching.

This has been a pattern since the first release of Unreal Engine. It's how we managed to smoosh it onto PS2 and Xbox.

I'm curious about Relational Lisp. It had the shortest development time, 3h to Haskell's 10/8; a middling/low number of lines of code, at 274; and only 12 lines of documentation. It describes Relational Lisp as being Lis

I preferred Eliminator and Frogbot to the Reaper bot because they were simply a little less perfect in how they played. Reaper had a habit of dominating routes and circle strafing with deadly precision, which just wasn't fun.
