   c++ part is one liner intrinsic which may be supported directly with new .net and several io methods which would be heavy on pinvoke calls like 5 per method if in c#, but these are very simple. so c++ part could be done in c and easily port

    If you need light weight machine than will get (thermal or artificially) throttled(slow), few ports. Like MacBook, Dell XPS, MS Surface. Are you fine with more heavy weight option? If you need ports than 2015 is not for you I guess, better

    C# cannot express generic algorithms on unsafe pointers unlike F#. C# has dounting inconsitencies in generics inference, delegate and event handling, operators and in expression-statements, unlike F#. I use C# but love F#.
