Wow. How big does your botnet have to be to provide 300 Gbps? Would be interesting to see an update from CloudFlare - AFAIK, the largest DDoS they've dealt with before has been a tad over 100 Gbps.

How realistic is it really that Sendgrid's official Facebook, Twitter, blog, and status site were all compromised simultaneously?

I think once a post passes 10 upvotes, flags are no longer relevant. My guess would be that the posts are gaining upvotes fast enough (15+ upvotes a minute) that HN's anti-spam triggers are going off.

I assure you, it has not. Sometimes it's hard to look past TechCrunch and the endless SaaS/CRUD apps, but we're in the middle of a technological revolution right now. Platforms like Kickstarter are driving innovation like never before, push

They didn't, it's fully featured. In some ways it's even better than the Android app, more beautifully designed. They mentioned in their blog they'll be bringing much the same to Android soon.

Probably for the same reason iOS app crashes are just an exit to the home screen (compared to Android's visible "force close" message).

This argument is ridiculous. What business sense would there be for Google to restrict access to Maps on one platform in the interest of "competition"? It's not like any potential WP8 users will be swayed over to Android just because of GMa
