It's possible to avoid this issue. I implemented a Canvas based clone of the classic MS Paint back in the days. One of the tricks to avoid this, was to use decimal pixel coordinates, so instead of drawing a pixel at (100, 200), you wou

Where do you get those numbers from? I'm a self published artist. I had 150k streams on Spotify last year. I only earned roughly $450. There's no label or other middleman here taking a cut. Spotify is just cheap.

New macOS versions use APFS, not HFS+. As far as I'm aware, you can't disable journaling on APFS.

This situation is different. This isn't about some deprecated API, but Apple changing the behaviour of the API, with no prior warning. Even the beta releases of 14.4 didn't implement this change, so no third parties actually got a

Yes, actually you can. As an artist on Spotify you can add a PayPal donation link directly in your artist profile, and you can integrate Shopify merch directly as well. https://spotify.link/kfll23o7LHb Even linking specific

Totally disagree. Most end users are on laptops and mobile devices these days, not desktop towers. Thus power efficiency is important for battery life. Performance per watt would be an interesting comparison.

The old version indeed worked that way. Mini was implementing a fully reverse engineered protocol.

Type cohersion and type juggling can bring a few surprises. But usually only when you do something weird to hit those edge cases. Otherwise, it's standard library is actually very decent now. Especially when working with arrays. You ha

No good open source tools for the 3DS just yet. However, it's possible to make homebrew with Unity and the official SDK, however, it's nothing you can distribute legitimately, and the tools are hard to find due to Nintendo taking

Which makes sense, since users have come to expect software to be portable. Let's say you have an Intel machine, and an Apple Silicon machine. You could then install software to a portable USB drive, and run it on both devices.

Yes they did. You had fast PowerPC chips at the time, but they couldn't compete at power efficiency, which was important for consumer hardware, especially portable devices.
