Semaglutide seems to be able to weaken urges, not just suppress the sensation of hunger. A lot of people have reported having a significantly lessened urge to drink alcohol, too. I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.

I wasn't impressed with Calibrate. The coaching aspect is very minimal and after several months of waiting (with no response from support) they let me know that my insurance wouldn't cover the treatment. They did refund most of wh

The main three things Assange/Wikileaks did that lost my assumption of good faith: * Innuendo regarding Seth Rich (Assange clearly had no information on this subject and should have been honest about it); * Falsely presenting a leaked

Neither of the major email leaks in 2016 were from the Clinton private server. One was from the DNC and the other was from John Podesta's gmail account. There were also (legal, redacted) releases of emails from Secretary Clinton's

This seems like a hypothetical concern. Has anybody actually had a problem with a clearly OSD-compliant license not being approved? Has anybody been "socially exiled" for not using an OSI-approved license?

I don't think this is true. GitHub (the website) became very successful with virtually no feature overlap with the git CLI. I suppose you could say that GitHub pull requests and forks are a replacement for git's built-in email-bas

Most people's objections to git ergonomics is not that the commands are slow to type. VS Code exposes the exact same operations on the underlying repository as the CLI, and it's those operations that critics say are hard to unders

By definition there aren't any, but MAME used to be distributed under such a license. I think Debian in particular has been pretty successful at exerting pressure to either relicense or replace software with non-commercial restrictions

The Etruscan alphabet was derived from the Greek alphabet, so I'm not sure why that would be suspicious. Etruscan dropped a few letters but otherwise it's very similar.

An exhibit is the outcome of multiple rounds of curation -- which items are preserved through history, which are acquired by museums, which are retained, which are displayed, and the prominence with which they are displayed. This curation i

Most people can't legally acquire the games to play on a PC emulator. This provides a large number of games for a reasonable price, a plug-and-play experience on an actual TV, and a controller. (Also, these devices can usually be hacke

You can dynamically create symbols and expect them to be garbage collected as of Ruby 2.2. They only become "immortal" if you use them to define a method, instance variable, or constant. So the common use case of hash keys is fine
