I agree. There shouldn't be any hardcoded DNS/NTP fallbacks. I don't use systemd on any of my personal systems or my dedicated server (Gentoo/Void), so I don't have to worry about this. But on my Ubuntu VMs, I guess

It dangerously goes two ways. Twitter tried to claim their banners on Trump's (and other public officials Tweets) were allowing because of 230! They're trying to have it both ways and it's a very very dangerous game to play.

In American politics, voting really doesn't make a difference as much as just having opinions alighted with those of the top 10% of income earners[0]. Making noise and protests are more effective in some ways, but the sad reality is th

I wanted to try out making gemini pages. I got some of the example servers, but no where in the official gemini spec, both via http and via gemini, could I find examples of the actual freakin gmi/gml formats! I started up Wireshark and

I never even realize GitHub had a project listing page. I miss the old FreshMeat (later FreeCode) back when it was the entire FreshMeat+SlashDot+SourceForge network. FreshMeat was an amazing resource for new and exciting open source tools.
