It's like debugging.. I'm sure you must have worked on an unfamiliar code base at some point and had to figure it out. Instead of having the source you have the binary and using tools like Ghidra you can start to piece together th

Going to sleep isn't a problem (for me) it's going to sleep earlier. It's more about the lack of light in the fall/winter. If I get stuck going sleep really late then I literally can either go forward - like stay up unti

That circle trick mentioned elsewhere does make it bearable. Small circles with the mouse reorient it slowly. Large circles reorient quickly. So with the tumbling and the circle trick it can be tamed.

Currently the 131M Buildings story shows the blog author picture and BIO instead of a summary of the actual story. Is this easily fixable or is it a tough problem.

Thoughtful idea, I've also been thinking about that for a long time but surprised it hasn't happened yet. I've never tried to tackle the tech but I'm guessing it must be hard to execute it with the precision necessary fo

Is it crazy? The chip itself is small. I'm not up on the subject but is it unusual? Are we talking power draw and cooling adding greatly to the size? I guess the M4 Pro must have great specs when it comes to running cool.

What's your source for that? I hadn't run across that - I know Heaviside never married and I thought most of the friction he was involved in was with other male Victorian era scientists.

That's such a laugh IRL for a lot of job types. Are surgeons fungible? Need brain surgery?, oh don't worry we'll get the orthopedic surgeon in here. I feel confident there are software jobs where it's essentially as spec

For H1B/PERM, I remember they had to post it on the wall in a public place. Our company posted the jobs on the wall in the lunch room at our office. It has every information including the salary. I guess things have changed a bit since

The joint rotation / skinning concept is about compression and ability to playback a stored animation rapidly. It has also been done by storing the entire posed mesh per frame and interpolating between meshes. It follows from digitizin
