Really enjoyed this post, thanks. I'm not sure if I really understood how the cache-oblivious solution works though in this case, I can't get an intuition for how the code linked in the github relates to the description in the art

Personally I find YAML for cloudformation worse than JSON because of the whitespacing requirements. JSON isn't much better mind, especially once your template reaches to hundreds of lines with nested objects. Recently I've come ar

This is very slick and easy to use. You sell it well by comparing it to the features on modern game consoles. I'm not sure when/if I'm going to use it, but I like the idea that it's there if I need it! My only criticism

I use a pi-hole on my network so I think that achieves most of the things this extension offers (minus the site rating thing) I use DDG as my main search engine though, and will continue to do so.

This is what saddens me about these invite only Slack channels. Yes the owners are free to make them invite only, but also if they're not easily discovered how are people supposed to find them? At least with IRC or Discord or whatever

I think this is the key really, conferences are like a dedicated period of time you can totally devote yourself into learning without being pulled into the trappings of the daily grind.
