I think it depends on the state. We don't have a national healthcare system (disregarding a couple programs for the old or very poor). Obamacare laid down only the barest of national standards.

I live in Arizona. My employer only offers high deductible health plans with a pre-tax health savings account. So, I pay ~350 USD per month for the plan to cover my wife and I. Then I also contribute to this health savings account, my emplo

The biggest thing I like about intellij over eclipse is that it uses the java and maven versions I want it to, instead of ecj and a bundled maven. This probably doesn't affect many, but was constantly a problem on some weird legacy pro

i think the unique thing here is feedback gathered from other devs. note the percent markers. eg, here's all the auto-complete possibilities, 80% of devs chose java.util.List, only 3% chose java.awt.List.

I'd previously assumed that all smart consumers aware of the near-universal malwareness of bundled software would despise this sort of thing. I'm glad to have my wrong premises exposed.

The persons finds bundled malware acceptable. If they sell software, I'd like to avoid it. This is how I interpreted the question.

Windows does have virtual desktops...just not the way X allows. The main thing that bugs me about Windows's desktops is that it is given a logical display surface compromised of all the display units. Whereas with X (going by my use of

Is it common these days to have a drivers ed class in high school? My city's (pop ~1/2mm) high schools didn't, circa 2003ish.
