I just wrote a similar thing. A simple CLI that posts alerts and heartbeats to Alerta. I used Go mainly for the same reason. (But I also couldn't write it in C or C++ :D)

It helps that the product is made up of super easy to source ingredients except for the whole song and dance about the "secret formula".

On Android mupdf mini gives me exactly that with a few implicit features that makes reading pdf books on mobile be 'ok'. There's a mupdf windows build. Perhaps that will do what you want. (Mupdf is also a library so there are

Though I am quite happy with mousepad, I will give featherpad a go. Thanks (I am already on KDE so the QT requirement is OK) EDIT: Tested leafpad. I will keep it around but it doesn't have tabs which I quite like to have. :)

The only editor I've found that reliably does that is mousepad. (I believe it's from xfce4) It's also really fast to start like Notepad++. Though it is more like windows Notepad in features than a bigger editor/ide.

I don't think you need a separate extension for proxy per container support. They support Mozilla's vpn thing by default but it cam be changed to any other proxy. Syntax is something like socks:host:port though I am mot sure abou

I have mild tinnitus on one side. It doesn't cause too much discomfort but it's there. I am pretty sure it is caused by something pressing on a nerve on my neck so it's probably not the kind that most people have. I am hyphot

My bike's rear is also a single lug. Including the time required to find and source the required tool it took me about 10 days to change the tire the first time.

I think I looked at the wrong column on mobile. While we're here though. Authentik has basic multitenancy support. I wonder if that qualifies as multi domain auth. Sorry about the mistake by the way.

I am only familiar with authentik. When I look at the comparison table it's super inaccurate for authentik. FYI.

At this point it would probably be the same thing as LXD. This is mostly an openSUSE effort and they had rpm packages (i.e not snap) for LXD for a while already.

2244 ? I used to get almost no tries on 2244 which is kind of an obvious choice. Nowadays I have wireguard and no ssh ports exposed as they run on private IPs.

This is true but on an active server legitimate users getting blocked far exceeds the convince of having cleaner logs in my experience. (Blocks always have to do with saved passwords being used from a nonwhitelisted IP)

The idea is you don't have to block those since there is no attack surface. I look at the imap login attempts on my server sometimes. The passwords they try are usually pathetic. Nothing close to the 15+ character actual passwords we h

If we limit the use case to a single service, fail2ban is just a log cleaner. What it's detecting is merely the service that you're protecting doing its job properly. Now if you analyze the collected data and do something smarter

I agree that almost all use cases of fail2ban are little more than feel-good exercises. Failed login attempts (the noise) are not where bad things happen. What we should be concerned with is if the attempt succeeds but is not from a legitim
