> It’s better not to have a tool than having a security tool that might work. This is what I don't get about SMS apps that may or may not send encrypted messages. (Like Apple's own)

That twist could be seen coming from a mile away. Years and years of media consumption probably. ("Seinfeld is not funny")

They briefly had GPU servers before. I believe they stopped when crypto messed up the gpu prices and supply. That's why you're seeing them in the auction now. But they usually go quick. This might change now since they have a bran

Premium + Vanced + Sponsorblock is currently the best YouTube experience. The fact that even this does not take care of all annoyances is telling too.

I was going to say both Visa and Mastercard are non profit but apparently this changed in 2006. I guess it makes sense like a "Got Milk?", or "the other white meat" for banks.

True. I had been reading about how other drones are in service but they never get mentioned anymore.

The major drone manufacturer is Erdoğan's son-in-law. He's being groomed as one of his possible sucessors on the throne. They looove to talk about those drones. I will check out the links. Thanks a lot.

I would be very surprised if Turkey was capable of doing that. If they did, that's all Erdoğan would be talking about. Also it's a bit weird that the linked article's source is a Turkish name. (Economy and theology major too)

I had the opposite impression. They were frustrated that the project owner was not responsive enough but also unwilling to hand over the project. Frankly it looked like a hostileish take over attempt but they don't seem to have any vis

Some ex barrier people cloned (as opposed to forking) the barrier repo and are continuing development on it. It's called input-leap.

There's a blog post about a similar thing but without any extra hardware. It uses barrier and a few simple scripts. (monitor does have to support switching via dcc). It's not perfect especially since the input switching for the di

You can run a lot of things on Google Colab for free as well. KoboldCPP has a nice premade thing on their website that can even load different models.

If I am not mistaken, layer offloading is a llama.cpp feature so a lot of frontends/loaders that use it also have it. I use it with koboldcpp and text-generation-webui.

They have that many stars on GitHub. They actually also have thousands of forks each. The api probably still has a way to count downloads but I didn't bother. I wasn't claiming users in the millions anyway. :)

I don't get this comment. It is basically the same kind of tool as the Pihole only much easier to install and maintain. (It's a single go binary) Isn't this a popular class of software?

I watched a performance of it on YouTube. The performance is the little coughs and sighs and creaks etc that we don't normally hear. I don't think it has a theatral component which needs people to storm out.

I don't know if it was a file system related thing but you could bet on the Windows registry being borked beyond repair after just a handful of unexpected power cycles.
