I am not qualified to say whether Authentik can do all of what you need but it does allow custom python code in a lot of places. Perhaps you can ask whether what you need is available directly. They are very active in Discord.

Cloudflare??? Damn. that is HUGE! Congratulations. You guys have a super solid product full of features and a decent founder. Maybe enterprises don't care about my favorite feature but it makes securing EVERYTHING a breeze. Embedded p

They are converted to LXC images then run. No compose file either. Still pretty neat.

I just paused cloudflare on a site of mine. On a normal day, it would be pretty easy to unpause it if it gets hit by a DDOS. Now cloudflare is down and the site is up again. Small sites do not benefit much from the performance effects of cl

I was just able to save a proxied site. Then the dashboard went down again. I didn't even know it was still on. It's really not doing anything for performance because the traffic is quite low.

This guy who forked Incus had already started providing rpm packages for LXD. At least on openSUSE but probably more.

Whatsapp is almost non-existent in North America so they can do whatever the hell they want with it and we'll take it.

If you don't need to get an expensive gaming PC your should not get an expensive gaming PC. The steam hardware isn't magic. You can already get equivalent specs for cheap.

Thanks for the correction. I kind of remember this as a more hostile thing done by Canonical at the time but this fork announcement from that time does not support that view either. Perhaps I am misremembering the little I do remember. htt

In case there might be people who are not familiar with Incus, it was forked from LXD to keep it open source. It's very good software.

It might be poor taste to hijack another product's post but I would check out Authentik before commiting to any idP. It recently started to have enterprise only features lately but its licence ensures they are added to the open source

Giving me MBA vibes. Will they close up shop and go when it's the remaining 75% of their infrastructure next time?

Cookies can already be partitioned. I am not sure if it's default but at the very least it's a config flag. It's called site isolation. I have seen Firefox people say containers kind of become unnecessary with this in place i

That is weird indeed. But I bet you are getting Hetzner results indirectly through resellers :) (Yeah I checked one Frankfurt based datacenter named FS1 - probably for Falkenstein. They might be colo or another datacenter there of course)

I watched a few demos and it is clearly magic and I was very impressed. Though I can't picture how a more standard run off the mill web app would be built with it.

That's a shame. For some reason a lot of projects are forked by people with not enough skills to do any continued development. And some people seem to thrive on the ethical high horse side of free software.

I've never heard of this software before. Any idea why it's discontinued? There are a bunch of weird messages that point to sort of a hostile take over of the project by forking, but it doesn't say anything about why or how i
