At this point, it's the "lower" level issues - suspend, graphics, sound - that are ruining the Linux desktop, even for us geeks. They were the reason I gave up on Linux desktop two years ago and forked over the extra money for a Mac. Closi

Haha - fooled you! If you tried this, you would probably fail! The government (lobbied by big companies) will convince the courts to block your injunction and force you to settle. You know, "risking national security by ruining the economy

Unfortunately, big companies with shipping products have every incentive to settle by cross-licensing & royalties. What we need is someone with deep pockets to form a patent troll and actually block shipping products rather settle. Thi

To clarify: a biased Gruber article may actually have valid points. The problem is that Gruber will only include pro-Apple points. For example, note that Gruber does NOT point out how the acquisition will allow Google to do Apple-style sea

The problem with Gruber is that he'll write a fair analysis only as long as the fair analysis favors Apple. This means we won't get a fair analysis from him on things like the patent war and app store high-handedness. Sometimes he'll do a

This is great for motivation during a heads-down sprint. What I'm looking for is slightly different: a place to show off when done and get/give feedback.

Me: Male, 65+ I'm in my late 30s. They have my interests as Business News & Finance (correct), but no Tech (incorrect), so perhaps the ad system is guessing age & gender from interests?
