Plastic tax is the only way, force corporations to pay for the plastic they produce and it’s cleanup costs.

Feel bad for the people buying these courses without realizing that people like us are working every day to optimize away their jobs.

Based on the current state of GMail I don’t think anyone at Google gives a fuck about spam.

This is more of an issue with google results than the content itself. Google is a shit product and you get shit results when you use it.

Don't forget that it can also be revoked without any action required from the application itself. Web3 is everything we wanted out of auth for the last decade or so.

Using web3 for auth costs nothing, and users here have often stated an interest in an ad free pay-per-use web. Here it is, people are just confused because there is a strong incentive on this forum to trash anything cryptocurrency related.

This is an extremely inaccurate take by someone who also decided it was a good idea to bring sexism into the conversation. Why does this kind of trash get upvoted here?

DDG for new searches, but mostly just bookmarks and in-site search when available. Searching the whole web isn’t nearly as useful as curating useful sites yourself.

Aka capitalism. We know it sucks, but gotta get yours while you can right?

Absolutely, to the point I no longer use it. For me it was the pinterestizing of image search that finally made me realize how pointless google was. Why use a service that is just going to feed me ads in response to every query?

It’s more than likely just the preparation, but I have found all the impossible/beyond meals I’ve eaten to be extremely salty. I want to like it, but honestly I would rather just eat a salad.

Can’t wait to see the tone of this forum change when YC starts investing in metaverse projects using web3 for auth.

This is the way. ORM’s can be a huge time saver and simplify your code base for the day to day CRUD, nobody should be writing that anymore IMO.

Seems strange to build a chip plant in a place that can’t even provide power to its citizens in winter.

Or just leave the US and stop participating in this failed experiment. You can’t make things better when half the people around you are making it worse.

Good, the world doesn't need more people. Adoption is always a great option if you want a child to raise.

You do realize web3 seeks to give ownership over your online identity while maintaining anonymity right? It feels like a lot of you guys have no idea what is going on here and just want to be mad at something.

Exactly the kind of ignorant comment I’ve come to expect from this forum whenever crypto is even tangentially related to the topic. It’s been almost 15 years, you’re getting left behind.

For front end auth it’s as easy as pulling in a react web3 lib. Authorizing the service itself to act on the users behalf is a little trickier and usually involves contract signing.

Totally agree, built a few dapps this year and the auth story is always such a breeze. Had to work on an old project for a client that was using oauth2 and it felt so archaic.
