I think in a software startup mindset it could be easy to think that more efficient => better, but a point not mentioned in the essay is that written Chinese is simply beautiful compared to e.g., the simple 26 character alphabet, which i

Apparently cannot edit comments after they are made anymore within two hours (it used to be three I believe), but I was going to add a point to the analogy in the second paragraph, since I know things are easily taken incorrectly: I am not

This is how I see it: Post-primaries, I think Hillary was a much better candidate. However a large number of liberals chose to campaign for her by just straight up calling the other side racists, while ignoring her flaws / blaming the

Fair enough - and I expect it probably varies by individual. I would strongly wager that I get more done at a coffee shop, or some place with a low buzz, than sitting alone at my house - as long as the conversation isn't directly at me

I sort of disagree with this and think one should extend in the opposite direction- to keep sharp, have an RNN generate some plausible config options / shell commands, and append them to the bottom of your vimrc / bashrc on start

At risk of talking politics, for example, she spoke against Sanders plan on universal health care at an important point in the race [1]. If she later changed her stance to be for universal health care, I don't think people either reali

Idk how common the setup in the article is, but seems they could easily test for heatmap singularities such as the one that happened and alert for that.

I like this one, > DO NOT solely rely on SSL/TLS to secure data in transit. Rationale: Numerous man-in-middle attack vectors and publicly disclosed flaws in the protocol.

Not quite what you are asking, but if it's written in React-Native or Xamarin, then it can be pretty close to the same codebase from Android to Windows Phone (or I guess they like it called Windows 10 Mobile)
