A while ago there was a comment here on hackernews which mentioned a designer talking about how much better git maps with a designer's workflow. ( http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2268004 ) The basic gist was that designers like to keep

How much more do you feel like you'd make by having web-sync ? It sounds like a large project compared to just steadily polishing the app itself and starting a second app on the side, or even as your new main project. An added benefit in st

Interesting to hear. I think some of the difficulties I've had in these type of projects stems from the customer not knowing where they want things to go / not having thought things through. In this situation they seem eager to bounce ideas

Are there any successful business built by using a freelancer ? Or a devshop for that matter ? Genuinely curious here. To narrow it down a bit, let's talk businesses who primarily operate on the web or through a mobile app. It just seems th

I love the silent updates. You raise a valid point about not knowing exactly what is being installed, but the flip side of the coin is that security fixes and new feature support get adopted much faster. It's nice knowing that mom's laptop

If that was the case, they could require Amazon to use their inapp purchasing platform without taking a 30% cut. It seems pretty clear to me that 30% of all Amazon's iOS business would be a nice addition to anyone's bottom line, and Apple f

Nice job. A small nitpick maybe, but the sound level of the intro and outro is very disproportionate to the rest of the screencast's sound. Quite unpleasant when wearing headphones. That said, I'm looking forward to the next one, subscribed
