you can label a message with multiple labels. you can only put something into 1 folder. that's the difference between labels and folders. gmail still has the former, and it works.

Google has a team of Developer Advocates to provide developers with support. Search for "google play developer advocate" and the top 4 results are Google+ profiles for people in those positions.

well i think google's exclusion of their native camera app is telling. this device is not intended to be used as a camera. you most likely have a much better one in your pocket at any given time: your mobile phone.

the camera app is not included with the device. the front-facing camera is intended for hangouts/video calls. i just tried installing Camera+ from the marketplace and it says my 7 is not compatible. this is one way Google kept the device

the problem with this strategy being used by many is presently apparent on the homepage. i would estimate over 60% of the stories are Show HN. I personally come here for technology news, so this makes HN less valuable to me as a user.

chrome is essentially a browser, even as an os, so expect chrome browser that is now a part of android to continue to improve alongside chrome os.

You're missing out on a ton of great Gmail features if you are using a desktop mail client. Integrated hangout/voice /text chat, phone, conversation view, the social pane with contextual information..the list goes on.
