Sure, it's here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P8YHKLF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b... I have a shelf behind my bed, so I connect it to that. Works great.

I already do the flexible arm, it's great for helping me to fall asleep at night! I read and read until I can't keep my eyes open.

I absolutely agree. I read with a mechanical arm that holds the book for me so I can read on my back while I try to sleep. I would love a way to turn pages with a little remote.

I've had the opposite experience, and thus worked to make my team a safe place for folks where they don't feel the need to hide from snarkers (who often are trying to put themselves above others by pulling everyone else down). As

The parent comment does not claim it's not approved by the FDA. They simply say it's toxic at the wrong dose, which your source says as well. It is something that can easily be taken wrong (given it has interactions with other me

I had the same issue until I went to therapy. I would suggest trying that out. They can help you think differently (in my case I grew up in a very dysfunctional family, look up adult children of alcoholics, we're often workaholics),

I have the same problems as you. For some reason I can't work in that type of format (similarly with Python). No beef against those that love it, my brain just can't handle it.

I definitely agree. Pay what you expect (great for great work), and if someone isn't cutting it let them know (chance for improvement). Worse case, let them go. Instead, most companies reward no one and wonder why the good ones leave

What came first, the chicken or the egg in your scenario? Did they stop doing great work because the rewards didn't match? Or did you stop matching because they stopped doing great work? Always hard to tell.

Always consider why you should trust them or what their ulterior motive is (selling papers, stoking outrage, etc.). Talk with some folks from the new generation and build a connection beyond what someone else wants you to feel / think

My opinion is it's due to the growing inequality. Folks have almost zero support, and the past year has probably hammered that in more than ever.

This seems like a wild take to be honest. Humanity over the generations remains much the same beast, it's just that as you get old you forget the lessons your generation had to learn by experience (rose tinted glasses so to speak). Y

I think it's more that the punishment for not faking it is too great. We need to be okay with following the scientific method and rewarding folks regardless of the outcome. Otherwise we're bound to see everything "succeed&q

I think a lot of us are sick of it (if you look at the polling for single payer, it crosses party lines in support). Unfortunately, our politicians are fairly well captured by entrenched interests.

"With financial support from friends and family, he raised $1 million" - from his wiki. Yeah, I don't think this person was hurting for the paltry sum they invested. It also sounds like they would've been just fine if i

The paltry amount he invested was hardly a risk. Had it not panned out, he would have been out basically zilch.

But in places where they've ignored the nay sayers and decided to raise minimum wage, the "likely real effect" you mention didn't happen. In fact, small businesses did great because poor people (who actually spend money

Definitely agree with you, going over 30 hrs a week or whatever the new full time definition would be should always cause overtime pay. There are so many loopholes to avoid overtime these days (classify employee as X, etc etc).

We should increase teacher pay / benefits to attract better talent. At the same time, we should decrease how many hours parents have to work each week (40 to 30?) so that they can actually engage with their kids.

I've really enjoyed tailwind after using styled for a while. At least for my applications, the computers my users run on can't handle the performance implications of styled. But beyond the performance, I legitimately build faster

Smoking is the worst. I was subjected to chain smoking indoors while growing up. Can't help but intensely dislike the habit.

Thanks for actually linking to stats. I've been to San Francisco, it's not as bleak as the anecdotes folks constantly try to put on it. One of my favorite cities to visit.

I wish we could switch to not tying unemployment benefits so much to employment. I know that sounds funky, but the reason why they don't want your minimum wage job is then they lose the benefits (not just money, but things like food st
