It looks well done. It is a shame that people posting reviews can be such dickheads. Out of the 4 public reviews, 3 are 1 star and only one of those is because of an actual issue. One is because the app isn’t right for them. The other becau

Agreed. Aside from actions that harm others (like theft, murder, etc.) the government shouldn’t be policing what individuals do. But it should absolutely protect the citizenry from malicious businesses whether it be praying on addictions li

A critical piece of this is to ensure it is just fixing the grammar and not rewriting it in its own AI voice is key. This is why I think tools like grammarly or similar still have a useful edge over just directly using an LLM as the UX le

Even with TS, if I’m doing web components rather than a full framework I prefer not bundling. That way I can have each page load the exact components it needs. And with http/2 I’m happy to have each file separate. Just hash them and se

Thanks for sharing! Not sure why I never looked for something like this as I’ve tried to inject vim everywhere I can.

Not at all. Growth, as we mean it, is a positive thing. It isn't a value statement that you are inferior as you are and only through growth will you have value and be acceptable. Accepting (and loving) yourself for who you are is seein

I think that is why despite it being eye roll inducing, there is still value to these descriptors as it explains what they are going for. In this case it tells us they are prioritizing the feel over everything else and for a package manager

You could always use ghost. You can still self-host it, but they have gone the direction of substack alternative these days.

This is a very obvious statement, but good MCP servers can be really good, and bad MCP servers can actively make things significantly worse. The problem is that most MCP servers are in the latter category. As is often the case, every produc

I’ve found codex to be a much more thorough code reviewer. Recently I’ve been using Claude for code gen and codex for review. I keep trying to use Gemini as it is so fast, but it is far inferior in every other way in my experience.

This is the truth. I work with an application that has nearly 100 microservices and it seems like at any given point in time at least one is busted. Is it going to impact what you’re doing? Maybe. Maybe not. But if it was just a monolith an

But if you’re already using npm in your project, as a significant number of front end projects are, it means you can serve them directly rather than requiring an external CDN.

If that ever does happen I really hope they just focus on making a proper phone, not trying to make it a hybrid phone and workstation. When they were working on Ubuntu touch (or whatever their phone version was called), they would show off

This is a fun little project, but I find it funny how much marketing boilerplate there is. So much setup to explain what it is and that it is free and not tracking you. But really it could just go straight into the app and they’d understand

I was daily driving Niri for a few months a while back and it was the first WM that worked nicely OOTB on a big ass ultrawide monitor. There is a nice hotkey to center your active window. I've found it was quite the hassle on other WMs

Nothing beats nix + home manager. But it is fun to see how many different ways people go about solving this particular problem. All of them have their tradeoffs and annoyances.

It is kind of wild to admit, but the bottom of this article made me think about the fact that RSS readers can be local apps for the first time ever... I've always used hosted services and run my own Miniflux server. But a quick search

This is a cool project, nicely done! I didn't notice the game features until I read the description a second time, so if you are planning on building this out more, I'd suggest adding a bit more emphasis to those. But regardless,

This is fantastic! Raycast is one of the few things I miss on Linux. It looks like that is no longer the case. Great to see it already has a Nix flake too! I was able to get it setup basically instantly.
