Trying to shoehorn Rust this and Rust that into every freaking thing makes more problems than it solves. Case in point is async rust in microcontrollers. Looks ugly as a sin.

I have experienced the same as well. I've been using team (on Linux for Christs sake) for past 3 years. Never had any major issues. Everything continues to be working as expexted. I'm using the web app on Chrome as a pinned tab si

It's simple when you realize that, FSF is about USER FREEDOM. Not DEVELOPER FREEDOM. As a user, I would be thrilled to have all 4 freedoms met. But as a developer with commercial interests, this might not be ideal. Clash between FSF an

Maybe its time for Mozilla to do the same with Firefox. Their inability to keep their flagship product relevant is astonishing.

Why did they need to use AT for whatever thing this is? AT is a well known and decades old protocol for modem communication. smh.

Rider highlights pascal cased class methods/attributes and suggests to use camel case, for example. I haven't changed any style settings. This is Rider default. Maybe its a Linux thing.

Except botched C# style rules. Rider still insists on Java style guidelines for .net projects. And sometimes, it spawns a never ending background process that only way to get rid of is to restart the app. Otherwise, it's okay. edit: be

Oh this brings back the memories of good old VB6. Never encountered such a simple and easy to use UI builder after that, probably because I left MS ecosystem for more open technologies. Just drag and drop. Double click on the component and

Yeah. Just look what they got from that. Big corps using their work with hardly any upstream contribution (Apple, Sony, etc). At this rate BSDs will be deader than dead within a few years.

HP Elitebook 840 has a pretty good Linux support (except the fingerprint drivers of course). My previous employer gave me a 840 G7 when it was just released. Worked pretty well with Arch/Ubuntu. Superb build quality, lightweight and ov

Java seems to be getting a lot of flak. I would very much prefer to maintain a large Java code base over large JS, Python, Ruby code base hands down. Trust me, you don't want to be in a position to maintain a 100KLOC mess of an app wri
