Awesome resource! I wrote a blog post just last week that is very similar in nature to this, but about achieving a specific effect in SVGs: https://daniel.do/article/making-noisy-svgs/

The problem as I see it is that the internet gives businesses the ability to operate globally, but having to be in specific compliance with different laws from every single country (or group like EU) is really challenging and in some cases

I think this post comes from an honest place, but it's a really trite sentiment. And I think this idea that it puts forth that people can separate or partition themselves from their work is wishful thinking. It reminds me of that TV sh

I have written two blog posts that sort touch on this subject. The increase in screen pixel density has had a much larger impact on web design as a discipline than is commonly acknowledged. https://daniel.do/article/mak

The steps to pay with Apple Pay are you have to take out your phone, double click the button on the side, confirm you want to pay, have it scan your face or do a fingerprint scan, then hold the phone waiting for it to confirm "client s

My theory about the Apple Card: Goldman Sachs is not setup to be a direct consumer bank. This caused a lot of problems: * The ease of sign up / approval led to a lot of subprime approvals that might not have gone through with a more es

I don't think this is Apple's plan. It's more that Apple has been developing in house modem technology for years (they bought Intel's modem division in 2019) because they are reliant on Qualcomm for them in iPhones. Once

FWIW the 2017 film Tangerine was shot on an iPhone 5S and I rewatched it recently and it at least looked okay to my non professional eyes. And that movie had a lot of night scenes too. I can only imagine how much the situation has improved.
