According to the unsealed indictment, bannon received $1m through a non-profit, which he used to transfer to pay for unrelated shit using fake invoices. https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/press-release/file/130

I must be in the minority here, but even after trying ddg exclusively, I find myself doing !g all the time, to the point where I just switched back. I do many technical searches throughout the day, and ddg falls short basically every time.

Along these lines, why doesn't google introduce a paid search service without ads? My hunch is that no matter the price point, it would be a huge revenue hit compared to actual advertising payments. My other hunch is that it would make

I don't know if you've heard of these guys: https://miamifruit.org/collections/banana-pre-orders Depending on the import laws in your state, you can get some really rare tropical fruits.

There's also teddit.net, a reddit mirror that uses the reddit API to present a light weight skin. It is a bit too slow for me, and the features are pretty lacking. I don't think a spartan "no javascript" take is what&#x2

My understanding is that certification is the bottle neck, in both time and cost. No one wants to spend the money or time to flight certify something new when something already battle tested will suffice. But your comment makes me wonder if

I don't understand your comment. Did the SCOTUS not read the whole thing before passing on it?

This is the "growth mindset" interpretation, and it's really a super power if you believe it.

I came to speak highly of the 2011 film. I remember rushing to read the book before the film. The cast was just perfectly chosen, Oldman makes a perfect Smiley. The pacing and the intrigue are just palpably juicy. It's been an annual w

Ya that's a fair point, but the flip side is that there are people in the comments ready to preorder, also without having tried the product. There's something cringy to me about that level of blind brand loyalty.

I thought GP's summary was pretty accurate. I think yours is grasping to make GP sound elitist.

Is this a different type of organism than Pando ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pando_(tree) )? Pando is a "clonal colony" whereas Pirangi is actually a single tree?

If they could find a way to mirror v.reddit.com videos (using an alternate host, like streamable or whatnot) that would really be a welcome addition. Also, for now it seems you can't log in to your reddit account (maybe that's by

I was really disappointed in Newsom going to that dinner. I don't understand how no one pointed out the optics to him beforehand. The fact that it was a lobbyists birthday is even worse. There will definitely be attack ads around this

This is what I've been telling people as well. We're not the country that can deal with adversity anymore. During WW2, people sacrificed steel so that industry could produce the weapons we needed. Now, there's a rush on toile
