This is what-about-ism and it's dishonest. The US's incarceration rate has little to do with concentration camps where people are put because they're a ethnicity the government doesn't like . They can both be problems w

The whitelist based approach seems pretty limiting, doesn't it? If every exit node is expected to enumerate the domains it will carry traffic to, what happens if a client needs to connect to a new site? Are exit nodes intended to keep

What Microsoft got in huge trouble for absolutely pales in comparison to what current tech companies get away with. I'm not sure why that is. A combination of oversight getting extremely weak and consumer apathy are my guesses.

The friction involved in getting those other technologies up and running was not trivial though. That played a role in php's initial success, because it was trivial to get up and running.

Great video on the topic: https://youtu.be/R30ratQanWw In addition to standard candles and CMB, another method of measuring the Hubble constant is mentioned, using gravitational waves.

Best buy was much worse off a few years ago. The company and the stores are in much better shape these days, they hired a CEO that did many improvements.

The funny thing is, based on this article and Fry's (the person) business acumen, why is it allowed to continue this way? The author emphasizes that John Fry is a bright guy with attention to retail detail. Bare shelves are incredibly

I don't see how the wsj quote is misleading or wrong. It's a close enough approximation for laypersons reading a non-technical newspaper. It's also a definition that's more closely aligned with the article's subject

How can a protest video be considered illegal in a country that claims to be an open and free democracy? There was a time when I would expect Google to stick to its principles and say no. Nowadays, I'm not so sure.

Not to mention, as a private company, Google could do whatever it wanted anyway, there is no first amendment protection. This lawsuit is probably going to get dismissed, so I have to treat it as a stunt to get some cheap headlines.
