The Razer core is $499 for the enclosure only, which make the price even harder to swallow.

The gaming performance is too low to justify the price. Intel Graphics is still nowhere near the performance of discrete GPU from Nvidia or AMD.

I always feel that Elementary OS is all looks, no substance. They replace many well-established applications with their own basic apps that might look better but lack functionality.

Does it really matter ? While I think Swift is an amazing language, it would be much less useful outside the closed ecosystem of Apple. The same thing happened to C#, it never really took off outside Windows.

Of course it's not, but the method is the same, you append a different picture to the end and modify the original image header to point to it. The encoding or encryption is not relevant.

Cool trick, I have encountered something like this in a steganography wargame before, the only difference is they used Base64 encoding on the original picture instead of AES :)

I think it's for consistency. If any container defines its own padding inside a column, the grid will quickly turn into a mess.

That's the norm these day. It's called application-profiling and done by every vendors in the market.

I actually like the standard Unix filesystem layout, I find it much better organized than the one used by Windows or OS X.

It's not that bad. Linux distro with point-release will always be become outdated over time because they don't upgrade there package to new major version. If you want always up-to-date software, use a rolling-release distro. In my

I don't think this approach is new. Scene graph structure has been used for a long time, and those libraries also make use of scene graph or allow you to use it.

Every decent IDEs have a code formater, but not everyone uses the same IDE so its usefulness is limited. On the other hand, gofmt comes with the platform and make it easy to enforce a common standard between developers.

It's an issue if you have high internet speed. I've had cases where the data can be downloaded faster than it can be parsed and overflow the internal queue. It's even worse if your crawler is not asynchronous, in that case sl

I don't think this can beat the speed of a hand-tune crawler. When I write crawlers, I skip rendering page and javascript execution if it isn't needed, which massively speed up the crawling process.

This is like replacing the compiler optimizer algorithm with your own, similar to the method of writing critical function in Assembly, right? Still I don't see the connection to Haskell, can you elaborate ?

It's not neccesarily which language is faster, but the which algorithm is faster. He said naively written C, which mean the algorithm may be entirely different and run in O(n2) and much slower than a Haskell version which use a differe
