I used that keyboard at work for a while. Programmed Ctrl+Alt+P to type my password + ENTER! The "easy button". Later I told the Unix guy, and he groaned. :-)

Sounds like it was an AMD and/or driver issue. We never had trouble with our intel GWs.

Dell survived. Nothing to be ashamed of making clones, they enabled the growth of the PC industry.

This is very "fixed" mindset you're applying to others. Some portion of the populace grows up every year. There should be a path to re/build your life once that happens.

Not sure about ebay but you can't sell on amazon any longer without them knowing everything about you. I used to sell but am no longer allowed. Not worth it.

Appears EU centric, shipping? No pricing given, no US keyboard layout available. Haven't checked but hear many programmers prefer US keyboard layout (+Intl) due to all the braces being in reach. That's probably enough hurdles.

It's a shame that page doesn't address the benefits you mention here eloquently. It basically just says we don't track you, and implies that is good. I do think it is good but it's losing the value prop for most people

They're a weird combo of compile-time parsing and run-time expressions, with custom opcode. Early on they didn't have expressions but worked like .format(). Then they added expressions and the PEP title needed differentiation fr

If you have a number of curly braces in the pattern, probably easier to use printf-style formatting to build the pattern, with %s etc.

Is Airflow good for an ETL pipeline? Right now a client uses Jenkins, but it is quite clunky and difficult to automate, though they've managed to. Cloud not an option.

If you're bored, move forward in the material on your own. I can't remember a school ever trying to stop me from starting the next chapter. Go far enough and you may be moved up a year.

There are many little incompatibilities over 3.x. Especially at 3.10/11 where deprecations are finally being removed. Few big changes, as from 2.x. Wheels typically lag however. Release[-2] or Release[-3] are good choices. Definitel

Very little of SW was original, but it's a more satisfying movie than 2001. At least there was a sensible ending. So, glad it was made. Shame about the later sequels though.

Would like to see a FLOSS IDE good enough to wrest mindshare back from vscode. A competitive stronghold that shouldn't be dominated by BigTech and telemetry. Wishlist: should be very responsive, powerful, and reasonably easy to use.
