There are several projects at work, any of which should land if they are successful.

The ancestor stated, all this futzing with commit history is a waste of time. I tend to agree.

I never understood the fascination with everything being forced white. The gray widgets and white content were perfect for drawing the eye to the important parts, ... the content. In addition, the "classic" desktop of XP time was

I use gimp for this. One layer the imported pdf, the next with my scanned signature from ... 1998? Position, scale to 1024 or so, export grayscale jpg with enough compression to create artifacts, done. The poorer quality the better, tend

Micro is just about is good, with a CUA interface, though is lacking the menu and dialogs. Also, freedos has a similar editor that has a few new features.

As developers know, pointers require you to work with a variable that points to another variable. It is one more level of indirection, and one needs to keep additional information in short-term memory to understand the code. For whatever

In the "old days" there was a dividing line we noticed in class. If the student could understand pointers they would succeed, if not they wouldn't. It was quite accurate for the time. Today things are higher level so I thin
