Ah yes, I take a slightly different approach, I don't do polling, only have a listener and a single request sent. Though, this still looks more robust, thanks for the link.

I still have to know the IP of my machine, make a script wrap around python and wget or curl to achieve the bcp functionality. I actually use SimpleHTTPServer a lot for other things though, it is a great tip.

Yes, I plan to do this as well as have the ability for the listener to stay active indefinitely instead of for just one transmission.

I agree with you on it being backwards and for some reason I chose to do it this way, though I can not now remember why.. may have just been a flawed though, as I can see no reason not to do it your way at the moment. Good find on the fread

That's because there are more Radioshack and Best Buys in a city than there are iPhones. I am pretty sure The Evo sold out for several day after launch.

The name was a tough decision. We want to still instill the atmosphere that a Camp provides, basically energetic hackers eager to learn, while still being promise some kind of gain if you do attend. The cost was as low as we could make it,

Heh, yeah, the picture is probably not an accurate representation of the type of attendee we will have. We are working on getting discounts for hotels. That information should be posted on the site within a few days.
