I'm excited for this. I've found Kagi to be very useful having widgets like this, in addition to the search results being good. I still have DDG as my search engine for ephemeral searches[1] on my phone and I'm getting sick o

Oh, yes, that makes more sense. Still, native typing is not even on the horizon for ES, so I think my point stands for businesses that are heavily invested in supporting TS. TS is what we need today, it doesn't make sense to ignore it

Is that a good reason to write in raw JS today? I'm not betting anything on TypeScript. It was released 11 years ago, and it's incredibly valuable to me. If it takes another 5 years for ES to implement first-class types, and it&#x

What you seem to be saying is that you have absolutely no doubt that it's reasonable to diagnose mental conditions based on a single short comment posted online. That is, simply put, wrong and dangerous.

What's the definition of environmental impact you're working with? I think microplastic pollution is horrible. It's arguably worth putting extra carbon in the atmosphere to avoid plastic pollution. I'm not actually sure.

> His current job requires him to be good at interviews I see. I had no idea that was a requirement of being a professional pianist. This all read as incredibly pointless with me thinking that interviews were a side thing for a pianist.

Thanks. I have yet to read the first 3, so I'll add them to the list. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll stumble into that art-project novel.

"Prosecuting individual actors" and "treating corporations as hostile entities" are not mutually exclusive; indeed I'd say we should all strive to do both.

I really need an Abridged New Yorker feed. I love about 20-30% of their articles, by volume, but they're so, uh, "well written", that they're difficult to even scan for high-value information.
