Quantum properties are randomly determined from a set of possible outcomes. (e.g if you measure "up vs down" you will never get "left", but it's physically impossible to know if it will be "up" or "do

I don't think that's as strong an argument as you're presenting it. If anything can exist, and if randomness can exist, it's simpler for a Boltzmann Brain to exist than for our actual universe to exist. The exact laws of

No - quantum uncertainty gives us the assumption that everything is fundamentally random and nothing is deterministic, unless we assume a meta-determinism (or superdeterminism) whereby fundamentally random outcomes are actually predetermine

I'm a different person but the key for me is a wrapper than can handle uncertainty and ask questions for clarification. Currently I don't find LLMs tremendously useful because I have to be extremely specific with what I want, whic

Well, every interaction with the page takes 30s+ as if it's making a request to a server under heavy load. Clicking a button does nothing, clicking into the text box doesn't even show a cursor.

Were bears completely extinct in the area and reintroduced from elsewhere? If not, there's no arbitrary line being drawn whatsoever. It's currently bear habitat.

So, I'm not surprised the site would get slow after hitting the front page, but why is the character creation form taking minutes to update? There's a text box - it should take less than 1 second for me to click the text box and

This is a poorly written article, it almost appears whole paragraphs are missing. For instance the phrase "an impossibly high value when compared to Planck’s measurements" is not explained at all. (Planck was a physicist, but I su

The buttons are difficult to press, it's especially difficult to right-click, and tapping the pad to click rarely works.

Yes, some actions have bad outcomes and some good. Are you saying everything the government does objectively makes life worse? Then you should be furious about driving anyway, because the government effectively forced you into it.

It's not only a function of trip length. If you make the drive shorter but make parking harder, and you make the walk/bike shorter but walking/biking pleasant, people will take their cars less.
