There's still a lot of development on the Kubernetes features for Spark. If you are really thinking about moving your production jobs from Yarn or Mesos to Kubernetes, wait until version 3.0 comes out.

I've always wanted to be that person. It's some of those things easy to say but very hard to do when you don't have the social skills.

Replacing the maps app and YouTube are the hardest for me. I haven't found anything that compares to those services. And I think Waze is also owned by Google?

Might be true but I wouldn't take the risk. It's not only about ads when they have access to your emails, location history and track what do you do on the internet.

Thanks! It would be great if you can also release a .rpm for other distros as well. I'm using Fedora 30 and Snap is generating some issues, that's why I rather install it using a package.

It's funny how a term that defines a culture is now used to describe a role. If you know how to manage cloud stacks, provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, etc then you are a "DevOps engineer". I personally don't like that.

I studied semantic web for a semester during college and I found it was too complicated and confusing. I remember stuff like RDF, Owl, ontologies, sparql, triple stores and others. But I never truly understood how was all connected. Besides

The problem is that most fallacies have a base on cognitive biases. And even when we are aware of them, they are unconscious. So we can't avoid them. But we can try to mitigate them[1]. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki&
