Why? They were only transporting documents (papers for bill of lading) not actual items.

Only the US and China have landed successfully on Mars. China achieved this in 2021. Russia/USSR tried multiple times and didn't succeed. Other countries have sent satellites to orbit around Mars, which is not the same thing.

I very specifically contradicted your claim. If you want sourcing, here is the New York Times[1] saying "B.A.C. did take on ordinary clients, for which it produced a range of ordinary pagers." 1. https://www.nytimes.com

What they don't say is: (1) Vehicles are heavier now, not just EV's. (2) Regardless of the barriers you are safer in an EV because EV's don't rollover.

The problem is that we will have proprietary software (distributed for free) doing bad things, and people blame their phone being slow. I don't like that app stores engage in rent seeking behavior when it comes to payments, but that is

There is the stupid underlying assumption that most people have cars, which is not true in the city where I live (only half of households do). I do have an emergency AM/FM/WB radio at home that I take on camping trips.

I have a portable AM/FM/WB radio in case of earthquakes or other disasters (it's the Wirecutter recommended one). This regulation seems somewhat sensible but I'm not sure what the point is if it interferes with EV motors

Good reporting would have sourced more pagers of this model and examined them to verify this, but regardless, how many copycats did this inspire? DB Cooper's antics led to several security procedures and aircraft modifications being im

In iOS 18 you can allow apps access to only some contacts instead of the entire contact book. This makes sense. I don't want apps to know who my doctor is, especially considering many apps share this data with others (including, in som
