If you need to do A and then B in that order, but you're doing B and then A. It doesn't matter if you're doing B and then A in a single thread, the operations are out of sync. So I guess you could define this scenario as asyn

I think asynchronous as meaning out-of-sync, implies that there needs to be synchronicity between the two tasks. In that case, asynchronous just means the state that two or more tasks that should be synchronized in some capacity for the who

Didn't it just get better at next token prediction? I don't think anything emerged in the model itself, what was surprising is how really good next token prediction itself is at predicting all kind of other things no?

This seems to only be impacting if you have the shell integration configured no? I don't have the hooks installed and the integration is disabled. I'm only using the q command for agentic coding, not for shell auto-complete.

That's on the free plan. It's 1000 on the 19$ subscription, or 3000 on the 39$ one. If you go over the limit, it's $.04 / request.

Very plainly put, you want a large middle class, and a rotating lower and upper class, with the various aggregate metrics from min to max, and everything in between to rise over time. In that state, you want to enlarge the pool of people wh

I feel what you say is true only for auto-complete, which is no longer the ideal workflow for agentic coding. Otherwise the IDE doesn't know what it should include or not in the context, and you need an AI model to determine that. What

The obsession with meritocracy needs to be toned down a bit. In my opinion, the very idea of merit is fuzzy and lives right beside corruption and bias. Merit is measured in imperfect ways, by other people, and fundamentally, we don't w

For anyone wondering, Amazon already offers an Agentic coding CLI similar to Claude Code: https://github.com/aws/amazon-q-developer-cli It has a pretty decent free tier, and maybe the subscription is better value than

That's all old news. Claude Code and even Amazon Q CLI can leverage all this context through MCP as well, with connecting to LSP servers, computing repo-maps or code indexes, integrating with linters, etc. In my opinion, CLIs have a hi

What I understand they did is. You have two tasks: - Task 1 - 3h - Task 2 - 1h You ask the dev to estimate both. Then you randomly tell the dev, ok do Task 1 without AI, and Task 2 with AI. Then you measure the actual time it t
